After such a long time, I manage to try out the wonton mee from Sunshine Plaza. After my group mate's posting on Pontian's Wonton Mee, we got a suggestion that the Wonton Mee sold at Sunshine Plaza is good too. Thus I decided to go and try it out. This shop has been around for many years. Since when I was in primary school. My school was nearby therefore I would normally go for wonton mee at this stall for lunch. I would like to thank the anonymous person for your suggestion. It reminded me of many memories when I finally ate a plate of Wonton Mee after such a long time.
This Wonton Mee is recommended for all, you would not regret eating it. The noodles have been blanched for an adequate amount of time so that it is not too hard or not too soft. It has a chewy texture. The Fried Wontons have been cooked to a Golden Brown Colour. It does not have a burnt taste nor does it have the lye water taste. The sauce mixture gives noodles a special taste and it is neutralized with the sweetness of the Char Siew.
This is located at Sunshine Plaza along Selegie Road, opposite Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts
